About the Hot Lunch Online Program and How it Works

We create monthly lunch menus which are posted online. The menus will vary month to month to provide variety, reflect seasonal availability and holiday celebrations.

Ordering: Parents can go online anytime of the month to order meals for their students (with a 5 day lead time). Payment is made through Paypal.

Meals: Meals consist of an entrée, a side dish or item, and fruit or a cookie. Each day of the calendar reflects a different meal. Some items are repeated throughout the month due to popular demand. Every Wednesday is Pizza Day, and that meal includes one slice of pizza. We do offer extra portions each day.

Beverages: We currently offer bottled water, milk or a 100% natural juice box.

Delivery: To Go By Jo will prepare the days menu items and will deliver them to the school either as a prepackaged lunch or we will provide staffing to serve the lunches to your children.

All lunch deliveries are accompanied by a print out listing the teacher name, grade, and childrens names of those who have ordered hot lunch that day, so that each student can be checked in at the lunch line. The school will receive this in advance as well.

Field Trips: We would be happy to convert a lunch order to a sack lunch if the child’s class is going on a field trip. 72 hours advance notice from the school is required.

Refunds/Credit: There are no refunds for lunches that a child misses due to illness, planned absence, field trips or other events that may occur. Lunches can not be saved for students not present at lunchtime. If a parent calls us to report an anticipated prolonged absence, credit may be given to your account. Decision to be made by caterer on a case by case basis.

Special Orders: A vegetarian option is available by special arrangement for an additional charge. Parent will need to contact Catering Company directly to discuss.

Doing Our Part: We are committed to providing a meal that is easily digestible, will enable the child to complete their day with high energy, and will please the child and the parent. We recycle and utilize recyclable and biodegradable packaging whenever possible.
